Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry


The Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry are the conditions under which catering establishments established in the Netherlands such as hotels, restaurants, cafes and related businesses provide catering services and conclude catering agreements. HOUSE RULES

1. By entering Hotel ARA you agree to the house rules as set out below.
2. All instructions from employees of Hotel ARA, which are related to the house rules, must be followed immediately.
3. Use of the public areas of Hotel ARA is at your own risk.
4. At Hotel ARA we treat each other with respect and it is forbidden to express insults or make discriminatory comments. It is also prohibited to sexually intimidate our guests and employees by word or gesture (action).
5. In order to maintain peace in the immediate surroundings of Hotel ARA, it is not allowed to cause noise.
6. In accordance with the Drinking and Catering Legislation, Hotel ARA does not serve alcoholic beverages to visitors under the age of 18. In case of doubt, identification will be requested.
7. In order not to have a negative effect on the atmosphere during the stay, no alcohol will be served to the person in question if intoxication is suspected.
8. During your presence you use property of Hotel ARA and third parties, it is forbidden to commit theft or destruction.
9. In order to safeguard peace, order and safety within Hotel ARA, it is not permitted to use or threaten to use violence.
10. In order to guarantee our guests a pleasant stay, it is prohibited to possess, use or trade (soft) drugs (including nitrous oxide cartridges) or weapons.

11. Hotel ARA does not make its location available for purposes other than those stated in our policy, it is therefore prohibited to trade, heal or provide services. The amount of an already paid room will not be refunded.
12. The employees of Hotel ARA watch over your safety, the emergency plan comes into effect in case of calamities. In the event of an emergency, you must immediately follow the instructions of our employees.
13. Do not leave your belongings unattended in Hotel ARA or your car. Hotel ARA is not liable for loss, damage or theft of your belongings. Parking, both in the car park and in the vicinity of Hotel ARA, is at your own risk.
14. Food or drink left in a checked out room will be thrown away.
15. It is not allowed to smoke inside the hotel. Smoking is prohibited in all our rooms. If you nevertheless smoke in the room, we are forced to charge a cleaning fee of € 150.00. When activating the evacuation alarm, all additional costs (such as claims from other guests and fire costs) will be charged to you.
16. Anyone aged 21 or older can reserve a room. Guests under 21 are only admitted when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
17. Guests under the age of 30 and guests in the immediate vicinity will be asked to sign a zero tolerance form to avoid inconvenience and problems.
18. It is not allowed to stay in your room with more guests than reserved. After 23:00 it is not allowed to receive outside guests in your hotel room.
19. Hotel rooms can only be paid with PIN or credit card, cash payments are not accepted.
